Role Expectations

Your Profile:
  • Master’s Degree in IT, Software & Systems, or Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT (Software Development & Technical) in an international environment. Background in Financial Services and knowledge of Consumer Credit, Fleet is a plus.
  • Experience in implementing IT strategy through successful software development projects.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing complex projects.
  • Persuasive communication skills and a liking for new challenges.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch and/or German is a plus.
  • Ability to coach and develop others.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Description

The office in the Netherlands requires an ambitious IT Manager to coordinate and lead all IT activities. Main responsibilities include:
  • Managing a team of 6 people, allocating responsibilities within the team and projects.
  • Liaising with the management team to formulate, agree, and implement systems strategy.
  • Preparing annual budgets for the dedicated scope.
  • Ensuring the IT department provides efficient customer service to all departments.
  • Continually appraising and reviewing the company’s systems functions for cost savings and greater efficiency.
  • Participating in the development and introduction of new application systems.
  • Ensuring documentation is up-to-date and that Group procedures, especially in IT security, are followed.
  • Managing and controlling networks and desktop hardware, as well as data and voice communication systems.
  • Implementing internal audit recommendations.
  • Contributing to the evolution of the Information System security policy.
  • Recommending solutions to the CISO to ensure the availability, security, and integrity of IS and data.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and managing IT risks within the perimeter.
