Master’s Degree in IT, Software & Systems, or Engineering.
At least 10 years of experience in IT (Software Development & Technical) in an international environment. Background in Financial Services and knowledge of Consumer Credit, Fleet is a plus.
Experience in implementing IT strategy through successful software development projects.
Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
Strong organizational skills and experience managing complex projects.
Persuasive communication skills and a liking for new challenges.
Fluent in English; Dutch and/or German is a plus.
Ability to coach and develop others.

Description
The office in the Netherlands requires an ambitious IT Manager to coordinate and lead all IT activities. Main responsibilities include:
Managing a team of 6 people, allocating responsibilities within the team and projects.
Liaising with the management team to formulate, agree, and implement systems strategy.
Preparing annual budgets for the dedicated scope.
Ensuring the IT department provides efficient customer service to all departments.
Continually appraising and reviewing the company’s systems functions for cost savings and greater efficiency.
Participating in the development and introduction of new application systems.
Ensuring documentation is up-to-date and that Group procedures, especially in IT security, are followed.
Managing and controlling networks and desktop hardware, as well as data and voice communication systems.
Implementing internal audit recommendations.
Contributing to the evolution of the Information System security policy.
Recommending solutions to the CISO to ensure the availability, security, and integrity of IS and data.
Identifying, evaluating, and managing IT risks within the perimeter.
